I've checked it against two other thermometers that are accurate. 6 inch long Bala Sharks that are known to be very unruly and boisterous. Works well in my betta tank, but provide a couple hours for it to read temp changes. When and if we run out of this batch, I'll instantly order another batch. You dont HAVE to stick the display onto your tank. Instead she sent a new package of two, both of which work. This company is taking the long term view of how to do business right.

The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars is because my betta fish didn't like it. And for the price you cant beat it. I needed a solution that was not breakable and these do the trick! They reviewed the packaging or shipping by saying it arrived broken. These things are useful for a lot besides pet husbandry, too. I have this thermometer on all my tanks. I just wrote it off as a minor loss.

Very impressed, I have now had them in used for a month so far. My only complaint is that they tend to be a one time use. This thermometer is spot on accurate. So much easier than the ones that hang on the inside. Sure enough the digital thermometer was way off by 6 degrees! When and if we run out of this batch, I'll instantly order another batch. So this is the extreme end of the high temperature range. So, in those cases, I find it easier to simply replace it. Set all six probes up in a terrarium with a constant temp of 88. I can't say which is the most accurate and don't really care. If the digital display starts to get dim, it's time for a new battery. These digital thermometers are great and there is no guesswork involved. These are the perfect size to be easily read while not being obtrusive. Place it on your aquarium and you are good to go. I find that the temps are accurate, and this product gives added peace of mind.

This thermometer is spot on accurate. 50 thermometers, reads much easier and no suction cup residue, also looks better. I just wrote it off as a minor loss. Checked with temp gun and the terrarium was on target at 88. I bent it a little bit and when I put it back it was perfectly fine. I think the people who said the suction cup broke. Set all six probes up in a terrarium with a constant temp of 88.

I bought these for my dwc reservoirs. The units each had a battery in place and situated for immediate use. It is my opinion that everyone should have these that are in the Aquarium Hobby. SIX Digital Thermometers with SIX batteries INCLUDED working so well. One being a very expensive digital. Still a recommendation for me due to price and accuracy. Now I'm getting back in on a much smaller scale with 3 gallon Acrylic Nano tanks.
