"It's low profile."

That tank hood went bad after only a year. It was a hair too narrow across and way too deep. I'm really happy with how this turned out. Had several cutouts to fit different size filters, heaters, etc. WE are very happy with these glass covers. Dont blame manufacturer if you can read a ruler. It's a little difficult to put on but it does snatch into place.

FACTORY WATERPROOFING IS INADEQUATE. Fit perfectly on my aqueon 10 gallon tank and was really easy to put together. They didnt cut me but they did have a painful feel to them. I bought this hood to replace the glass ones I had. Nice that the seller called to ensure a good fit before shipping. I love it love it love it, and my fish are now happy! So far very pleased with my purchase.

"Lights up my 5."

It fit the 55gallon tank without an issue. IF YOU BUY THIS HOOD BE SURE TO SEAL WITH SILICON WHERE WIRES GO TO INTO LIGHT GROUP. When I first picked up the package, it was really light. They fit our 90 gallon tank perfectly. When I would attempt to feed them, these monsters would JUMP out of the tank. 2 packages of 2 stick on handles for the lids were included. You do have to put the LED's in yourself but it is super super easy.

Nice that the seller called to ensure a good fit before shipping. Perfect fit for older aquarium's with thicker center piece and sides. It is flat and sleek, the led lights are fantastic. Bought one for a 10 gal Tetra aquarium. I bought this tank hood and I have never been happier. I bought this after the marine-land LED lid failed on me. I went through many reviews before buying this lid.

"The packaging is amazing."

Because it comes with the handles unattached so you can place them where you want. I think a tank could have rolled over the box and the glass wouldn't have cracked! Dont blame manufacturer if you can read a ruler. I have an Aqueon QuietFlow 30 and it fit just fine. OMG it fits perfectly and make my tank look more vivid& beautiful. I'm hopeful that I can trim the glass down with some emery cloth. Now, getting to what I know you are all reading this review for- the new tank lids.

I'm wondering if I could just be sent the other plastic piece I'm missing. I got the package within a couple of days, much sooner than I expected. MIGHT DO YOU GOOD TO CHOOSE ANOTHER BRAND. Also, received a week earlier than scheduled date. You do have to put the LED's in yourself but it is super super easy. When I first picked up the package, it was really light. The design is very low profile which I like a lot.

Unfortunately, the price seems a little. It installed easily and looks great. I bought this hood to replace the glass ones I had. People complaining about fit probably didn't pat attention to the description. I got the package within a couple of days, much sooner than I expected. It would have been much easier to trim it prior to assembly. He introduced himself and then confirmed my order.

"The fit, the look."

The hood fits perfectly on my 55 gallon tank which has a divider in the middle. 2 packages of 2 stick on handles for the lids were included. I'm hopeful that I can trim the glass down with some emery cloth. I immediately went to putting it together, which sounds easier that it really is. Hoods work great and light is bright. Lights are bright and makes my tank look really neat. It doesn't have a recessed area to help avoid movement.

"My other one is clear."

VERY BAD POLICY OF THE MANUFACTURER. We got an old reptile tank that someone was using as a fishtank. I mean it's the same brand and says it's for our size tank. I used the extra space to run the heater cable, but still had to cut for my filter. Dont blame manufacturer if you can read a ruler. Hoods work great and light is bright. The hooks for the back were an added bonus.
