Check out my fancy workout conveyance device... it doubles as a water bottle :)

I had a pretty hard time getting out of the house today. I felt magnetically attached to my couch… creating enough forward momentum to break free of it’s gravitational pull took some doing. I eventually wrote a workout and packed my swim bag and was out the door around 7:30 and in the pool about 5 to 8.

I grabbed an empty lane along the edge of the pool and got to work. After my warm up and kick set I put on my SwiMP3 to get me through a big 2000m set. That thing is really helpful on nights where I’m out there solo trying to get through a lot of distance.

Tomorrow I think I’m going to the ocean to swim, but I’m not sure if anyone else is going to join me. Niel can’t go so I’ll have to bug a few other people to see if they’re interested. The pool I swim at in Santa Maria is closed all week so I have to come up with an alternative plan for my lunchtime swim… we’ll see where I end up.
