Next up… I got my award for hitting 50 miles in USMS’ Go the Distance! Not that this bald dude gets a lot of use out of swim caps, but it’s always cool to get swim stuff in the mail :)

By tracking your distance online with GTD they know where you’re at. I don’t know how and when they decide to send stuff out however… if you check out http://www.usms.org/fitness/content/gothedistance you’ll see the prizes that they give out at different milestones.

Thanks for the info, Rob! I track my progress every day. I’m at 151 miles for the year so far… but I think you were just a lucky duck and got a prize, because they haven’t shipped me any goodies yet (ha ha). That’s ok, it’s super cool just to have a place to log it all and keep track. Digging the GTD 2010!!
