Thanks James, I think I've met you once or twice at a Seahawks meet. I guess I am now the SLO County ambassador to SPMA :) Let me know if you're coming to an event down south and I can introduce you to some of the SPMA regulars. I go up north to events in Pacific Masters region as well if you're ever going that way.

I'd like to see some more action up here too. I think the hitch for Santa Barbara/SLO county masters action is that a lot of the swimmers from LA/OC won't come this far north for a meet and you're hard pressed to get more than 30 people on deck at a meet in SLO. The good news is that there are 3 meets tentatively penciled in for 2010 at Sinsheimer, plus one in SB. There's a mild desire in Santa Maria to hold a meet but I don't think it's going to happen this year.

Hopefully I see you down at SPMA Regionals in Long Beach!

Congrats...I've been following your blog in the shadows and it's always a great source of info.

It would be great to see a little more action in the SPMA north of Santa Barbara (i.e. Santa Maria, San Luis Obipso, etc.). I swim with Kennedy Club - we are trying to make a showing at more meets down south and make a presence known to our fellow SoCal swimmers.
