		<description>Yeah when there&#039;s seals on the beach freshness and cause of death are kind of high on the list of things that we look at before hopping in! There was a fatal shark attack at this beach in 2003 so we try to be reasonably cautious. We also look for lots of birds, seals, etc. in our path. If there&#039;s too much wildlife we pass on swimming.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The people I swim with go out all year long so I should have posts and pictures all winter to keep you going! If you&#039;re ever in the neighborhood you&#039;re more than welcome to come play in the ocean with us :)</description>

		<description>no bite marks huh? Is that how you Californians judge weather to swim or not to swim?  open water season is over here in Maine until mid-June. At the warmest this summer we got up to 70 ocean temp! and who&#039;s saying global warming is not occuring? &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Well I&#039;m jealous you are still out there. Keep up some posts and pictures  of the ocean for all us Mainiacs.</description>

		<description>The water was surprisingly warm (compared to the usual temps), but with no sunshine it felt a lot colder than it was. I&#039;m still wetsuit-less out there. I&#039;m going to hold out as long as I can!</description>
