My plan for free accomodations this weekend for the Naples Island Swim isn’t going to workout quite right so I’m going to stay in Long Beach Saturday night instead. I’m busy looking for a workout I can drop in on Saturday that happens late enough in the day that I don’t have to leave my house at 4 in the morning to get there (for reference… I’m at least 3 hours from LAX). Any suggestions?
Had a short swim tonight, only about 25 minutes of solid swimming which is probably good for about 1700 yards. I normally would have counted it out with my SportCount lap counter thingie but I’m not completely sure where it is at the moment. The goal today was to just get my arms and legs moving. I’ll have a real workout tomorrow with my Santa Maria masters group.
On a side note I bought some TYR schwimmer-hosen online today. Even though I think I’m going to look silly in Leggings but I still want to try them out in the name of science. I get asked about different suits a lot so it’s worth it to me to race in them a few times just to see what they’re like. Just in case I don’t like them I bought a couple pairs of goggles to just for good measure :)
