Tomorrow I am swimming a LCM meet in Santa Barbara. This will be my first meet in over a month! I am so ready to do some fast swimming. Tonight I went to Pismo and did a short workout just to get loose and do a few sprints.
400 warm up
4 x 50 fast IM order
8 x 25 from mid pool fast
200 cool down
1000 yards total
The yardage wasn’t anything to get excited about, but I worked the fast parts. Plus I just needed some yardage to loosen up my arms and shoulders. I swam a lot this week and I’m feeling it!
Tomorrow I’m scheduled for the 200 IM, the 50 free, 50 fly, 50 back, and the 100 back. It sounds like my team is going to be around 10+ people deep which means I should be able to squeeze in a relay too. I’m going to be dead tired by the end of this thing, but at least this meet is relatively close to my house. Normally I have to drive 3-4 hours to get to a swim meet, this is only 90 minutes away.
