Like I’ve been saying I gotta build up my endurance a little with my butterfly. I’m pretty sure in order to get better at it you have to actually do butterfly so I applied that theory a little bit tonight.

My fly is feeling pretty good these days. I actually feel better after doing fly than I do after freestyling. My shoulders hurt but in a muscular way, not a crunchy kind of way. My one big hole right now is maintaining good turns through a whole 100. I have a hard time holding my breath long enough on the last 2 turns of the 100 which is unfortunate because my kick and push off the wall is pretty strong. Hopefully by beating on butterfly for a while I can work out some of my weaknesses. I still have a lot time to shave off my 50 & 100 times but I’m getting there.

    I just heard about the Butternuts club this week. I’m not up to doing a continuous 500+ yards of fly just yet but it’s a new goal for 2009,
